1. Search through the auto classifieds using the form above.

2. Each time you find a used car or truck you are interested in click the contact seller button and send a quick email to verify the vehicle is still for sale.

3. Try to find at least 5 to 7 vehicles that are in your price range.

4. The seller will probably email you back pretty quickly so be ready to act. If the car is available call the seller and set up an appointment.

5. Run your own credit check and know your score. DO NOT let the Car Dealer run your credit!

6. Find out what the current bank car loan rates are and if possible get an approval before visiting the car dealer.

7. Get the VIN # and run a CARFAX vehicle history report as well as a Kelly Blue Book Value. If the numbers look good and the CARFAX is clean, go test drive the car.

8. Bring a folder with all your printouts and research material.

9. Always negotiate the lowest Kelly Blue Book Value. NEVER pay high book!

10. If car dealer won’t deal with you. LEAVE!

Repeat steps 1-10 until a car deal is done!
